What will happen to jesse campbell
No question. Sure, he could get votes from fans, but viewers who watch for the novelty factor would tune out for a third season, or recruiters would be told not to bring on any more amazing singers who fall into any of those categories, and the accusations of preferential casting would start flying, and that gets into the territory of equal opportunity employment laws, and no one wants that to happen.
His record deal will be great. He will make a lot of money. Keep in mind that last time there were viewer votes, the SHOW producers could see how broad a gap there is between 1 and 2. Every reality show contract includes a deception clause. And that Jesse exited with grace and charm and a humble thank you?
What would he get? A producer-friendly, network-friendly, brand-friendly right-of-first-refusal deal with THEIR parent-company-owened label; a group tour with the rest of the top contestants; and hopefully some fans who would remember him well when the contract was over and the network was finished making money off him, so he could try to leverage the win… a year later?
Christina gave him a gift. You watch. Bonnie Gillespie is living her dreams by helping others figure out how to live theirs. Wanna work with Bon? Start here. The voice was a big waste of my time. In my opinion, Christina kept Jesse on the show and later dumped him only to get ratings and recognition for her dumb decision.
However, I think her tactics backfired. Thanks, Lorene! For sure. Of course, those guys had the advantage of seeing how extreme the reaction was, the week before, so they could prepare to do better. Ooh, there still are some great voices on that show, though. Copyright Jesse Campbell. All rights reserved.
Jesse Campbell is one of those singers who is an international recording artist that sings heart-felt universal music with soul. He is a connector, with a strong determination to put his imprint on each song he sings. His fans are loyal, his dedication to his art is unprecedented, his passion for the music he brings forth has a spirit-filled intensity that permeates directly into the hearts of his audiences.
At the age of sixteen, he began leading songs with the church choir in Chicago, Illinois where his father Bishop W. I felt as though she would continue to honor her words -- "I would fight for you" -- and to me that wasn't a fighting-for-me type decision.
So when she said it, my heart just dropped and I was like, "Oh my god. Oh my lord! All of the coaches turned around for you back in the blind auditions and continued to have wonderful things to say about you.
After being voted off, did you have any regrets about choosing Christina? No, I have no regrets. And I wouldn't change anything, simply because the God that is in me led me to choose Lady Christina.
I believe that everything happens for a reason. I don't know why she chose to send me home, but I respect her as a person and as an artist. They asked her to be a coach for a reason and I do my best not to make assumptions so therefore, I don't have any regrets.
So I just have to respect whoever made the decision to change the rules and to give her that right to send someone home and it just so happened to have been me. I don't feel as though she nor the show owes me an explanation because I signed up for a reality show and to me, reality is the unexpected.
Did you feel like you connected with Christina? She invited us to her home and they prepared dinner for us and drinks and we had a wonderful time. That to me, it speaks volumes of her character.
Being on the show, we are taking care of business and there are those that are there just to protect everybody so that's a professional part of it. So the only personal moments that we had were cherished moments of phone conversations and e-mail, which I'm humbled by alone. Because this is, to me, Lady Christina, who has taken time out of her super busy schedule to have a conversation with me? Oh, come on. Has she reached out to since you went home? No, only through Twitter.
It was a general tweet of well wishes and that was basically it. And I'm appreciative of that. She doesn't owe me a phone call or anything. It's a professional situation and relationship that I respect.
So what did you think of what Christina said about her decision? I don't remember the words exactly, because I was sitting there and I was like, "Wow. I'm really not there. It's really sinking in that I am not there with her anymore. But I don't remember exactly what she said because I blocked it out for whatever reason.
I think it was something about wanting to work with "artists who could grow with [her]. Well, I do my best not to make assumptions, but under these assumptions, they were younger in all aspects. And myself, I have been doing this for a very long time, but it's not as though I am not teachable But I can only hope that it was based upon they're being more trainable and because of their age in the industry and in reality … that's about all I could really say.
I just don't know … But as Jay Leno told me, "You can never be too old, but you can be too young. Other contestants and coaches seemed shocked by Christina's decision to send you home. Have any of the coaches reached out to you?
I was kind of hoping, based upon their comments that someone would. But again, I have to go back to not being attached to the outcome of things nor my expectations of others.
I just need to keep it moving and know that everything happens for a reason. I believe that I will see each of them somewhere along the line in our careers, but I can only just hope for the best. Fans have started an online petition to get you reinstated on the show.
Have you heard anything from the show about that being something they'd consider? We were told basically that once you're off the show, you're off. There is no coming back. And that's all that I have to go on. It's not something they've done previously, but they also never had the instant elimination before. That is very true.
But me, I'm open to whatever it is that God has for me. If they were to change that rule and you could be reinstated, would you want to be or do you feel like your time with "The Voice" is over? Wherever I have the opportunity to share this gift that God has given me with the world, I look forward to taking advantage of that.
Can you tell me a little bit more about song choices? Naia Kete on Team Blake made a comment about there being only so many songs to choose from before she went home. Well, they have to get clearance.
